Research has shown over and over that students that have structure and additional support always excel more than students that differ. Poor performance dominates families that do not have access to resources. Hizunhur Center  will serve as an interactive academic resource center that will provide academic assistance to students using state of the art technology.

As we move to a technology driven world we can no longer rely simply on traditional educational strategies. While some students do well with the tried and true method of direct instruction, majority of students do not. To reach the most number of students, Hizunhur Center is introducing Hampton Academy. At Hampton Academy as well as Hizunhur Center we realize the need to create a variety of learning experiences. The first and most simplistic way is to integrate technology into learning. Technology will help meet these demands by allowing students to interact with information within a different medium.

There are numerous multimedia programs designed to meet the special needs of diverse learners. Technology is greatly needed for visualizing and modeling, especially in the sciences. It offers students ways to experiment, observe phenomenon and to view results in graphic ways that aid in understanding. As an added benefit, students are more likely to stay engaged and on task.

Technology also changes the way teachers teach, Hizunhur Center and Hampton Academy offers educators effective ways to reach different types of learners and assess student understanding through multiple means. It also enhances the relationship between teacher and student. When technology is effectively integrated subject areas, teachers grow into roles of advisor, content expert, and coach. Through technology Hizunhur Center and Hampton Academy will make teaching and learning more meaningful and fun.
